Kathryn Caskie has a background in marketing, advertising, and journalism, and has worked as a magazine editor, TV producer, and copywriter for radio and television commercials. She developed a longstanding interest in history and antiquities, which intensified after her family moved into a 200-year-old Quaker home in the Virginia Blue Ridge. This experience inspired her to shift her career toward writing historical romances. She published her first novel in 2004.
