Laurence Dermott

Laurence Dermott was born in 1720 and was a Freemason who became involved in the organization in 1741. He served in various positions before becoming Worshipful Master of Lodge No. 26 in Dublin on 24 June 1746. He moved to London in 1748, where he may have worked as a journeyman painter or to expand his father's business, and later worked as a wine merchant. Dermott died in 1791.
