Leigh Bardugo is an American fantasy author born in Jerusalem on April 6, 1975, and raised in Southern California. She is best known for the Grishaverse, a richly imagined fantasy universe that spans the Shadow and Bone trilogy, the Six of Crows duology, and several companion works. Her novels have become international bestsellers and were adapted into the Netflix series Shadow and Bone.
