Linda Lael Miller is a bestselling author of more than 100 historical and contemporary novels, many of which reflect her affinity for the American West. She was raised in Northport, Washington, and lived in London and Arizona, as well as traveled extensively before returning to Washington to settle on a property outside Spokane. Her writing career began after encouragement from a teacher in Northport, and she achieved publication with the 1983 release of Fletcher’s Woman through Pocket Books. She has received recognition for her work, including the Romance Writers of America’s Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
