Liu Yiqing (403–444) was a Chinese historian and writer. He compiled a collection of short stories and conversations known as Anecdotes contemporaines et nouveaux propos, which is considered one of the most engaging works in Chinese literature. The compilation reflects the cultural and intellectual life of his time and remains an important source for understanding early Chinese literary traditions.
