1 standalone book

Lloyd Douglas (1877-1951) was an American novelist who spent thirty full years in the ministry before retiring to devote himself to writing. His novels aimed at inspiration; he said he was more concerned with healing bruised spirits than winning the applause of critics. Since his first novel, Magnificent Obsession, in 1929, his books achieved ever wider popularity, selling more than 7,000,000 copies, including over 2,000,000 of The Robe alone.
