Mário Raul de Morais Andrade (October 9, 1893 – February 25, 1945) was a Brazilian poet, novelist, musicologist, art historian, and critic. He was one of the founders of Brazilian modernism and is credited with creating modern Brazilian poetry through his 1922 work Paulicéia Desvairada (Hallucinated City). He also worked as a photographer and was a pioneer in the field of ethnomusicology. His influence extended beyond Brazil, shaping modern Brazilian literature and scholarship. He should not be confused with Angolan nationalist Mário Coelho Pinto de Andrade.
