Mary Ann Shaffer (née Fiery; December 13, 1934 – February 16, 2008) was an American writer, editor, librarian, and bookshop worker. She is known for co-writing the novel The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society with her niece, Annie Barrows. The book was published after her death. Shaffer spent her career in literary fields, working in bookshops and contributing to the literary community through her roles as an editor and librarian. She lived and worked in the United States.
