Michelle Willingham is a romance author who grew up in a military household that relocated her to various countries, including Thailand, Germany, and England. She began writing historical romance at the age of twelve and later earned a degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated summa cum laude. She taught middle school for eleven years before leaving the profession to write full time. She lives in southeastern Virginia with her husband, a rocket scientist, and enjoys cooking, reading, and avoiding exercise.
