Mouzi, or Master Mou, was a late 2nd-century Chinese Confucian scholar-official who, according to the Mouzi Lihuolun, converted to Buddhism. That work, a classic Chinese Buddhist text, comprises a purportedly autobiographical preface attributed to him together with an imaginary dialogue of questions and answers about Buddhist practices.
