Nick Land is an English philosopher, short-story horror writer, and blogger known for his influential role in the development of accelerationism and speculative realism. He is recognized as a co-founder of the 1990s collective Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (CCRU) and credited with pioneering the genre of "theory-fiction." His later writings have been associated with the promotion of anti-egalitarian and anti-democratic ideas, particularly within the frameworks of neoreaction and the Dark Enlightenment. Land's later work includes advocacy for scientific racism and eugenics, which he refers to as "hyper-racism.
