Norah Lofts, née Norah Ethel Robinson, was a 20th-century British writer who also wrote under the pen names Peter Curtis and Juliet Astley. She authored more than fifty books, primarily in the genre of historical fiction, though she also wrote mysteries, short stories, and non-fiction. Many of her novels, including her Suffolk Trilogy, trace the history of specific houses and their residents across multiple generations.
