Paul Karl Feyerabend (1924–1994) was an Austrian philosopher best known for his work in the philosophy of science. After beginning his career as a lecturer at the University of Bristol (1955–1958), he taught for three decades at the University of California, Berkeley (1958–1989), and held appointments at institutions including University College London, the London School of Economics, Yale University, and ETH Zurich.
