Perpetua Saint was a Christian martyr of the third century. She was a recently married, well-educated noblewoman and mother of an infant son. She was imprisoned with Felicity, a slave woman who was also pregnant, and they were put to death along with others at Carthage in the Roman province of Africa. She was a Carthaginian Christian writer and martyr.
