Sir Philip Armand Hamilton Gibbs was an English journalist and author who served as one of five official British reporters during the First World War. He was the brother of writers A. Hamilton Gibbs and Cosmo Hamilton, and the father of writer Anthony Gibbs. His literary output included works such as A Master of Life, Intellectual Manners, Helen of Lancaster Gate, Paradise for Sale, Broken Pledges, and Called Back.
