Dr. Rhona Rapoport received her Ph.D. in sociology from the London School of Economics and trained as a psychoanalyst at the London Institute of Psychoanalysis. For twenty years, she served as a consultant to the Ford Foundation, focusing on programs related to work and family issues. She is currently director of the Institute of Family and Environmental Research, a nonprofit educational trust based in London. She has authored several books, many in collaboration with her late husband Robert Rapoport.
