Richard Aldington

Richard Aldington was an English writer and poet who was an early associate of the Imagist movement. His writing career spanned 50 years and produced 143 separate titles, including poetry, fiction, and literary criticism, as well as reviews of over 1,350 books and hundreds of articles. He edited The Egoist and contributed to publications such as The Times Literary Supplement, Vogue, The Criterion, and Poetry. His biography Wellington (1946) won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize.
