Roger II of Sicily

Roger II of Sicily was the son of Roger I of Sicily and the successor to his brother Simon. He ruled as Count of Sicily from 1105, later becoming Duke of Apulia and Calabria in 1127. He was crowned King of Sicily in 1130 and also held the title of King of Africa from 1148 until his death in 1154.
