Pierre Roger Peyrefitte (17 August 1907 – 5 November 2000) was a French diplomat and writer. He authored bestseller novels and non-fiction works. Peyrefitte was also known as a defender of gay rights and pederasty. He lived and worked in France during the 20th century. His career spanned both diplomatic service and literary production.
