Roxane Gay is an American writer whose work has been featured in numerous publications, including Best American Mystery Stories 2014, Best American Short Stories 2012, Best Sex Writing 2012, Harper's Bazaar, A Public Space, McSweeney's, Tin House, Oxford American, American Short Fiction, and Virginia Quarterly Review. She is a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times. Gay is the author of several books, including Ayiti, An Untamed State, Bad Feminist, which was a New York Times bestseller, Difficult Women, which was nationally bestselling, and Hunger: A Memoir of My Body, also a New York Times bestseller. She also wrote World of Wakanda for Marvel.
