Sakae Esuno is a Japanese manga artist known for creating the series Future Diary and Big Order. He began drawing at age 15 and was influenced by the works of Rumiko Takahashi, particularly her horror manga Mermaid Saga. Esuno became a professional manga artist after his story Tetsudō Tenshi won a prize in a 2001 contest held by Kadokawa Shoten. He later serialized a manga adaptation of Bokuto Uno's light novel series Reign of the Seven Spellblades in Monthly Shōnen Ace.
