Sophie Hannah is a British poet and crime novelist born in 1971, best known for her psychological thrillers and for being chosen by the Agatha Christie estate to write new Hercule Poirot novels. Her Poirot continuation series, beginning with The Monogram Murders (2014), has brought the beloved Belgian detective back to a new generation of readers. Alongside her Poirot work, she has written numerous standalone crime novels celebrated for their tightly plotted suspense and dark psychological depth.
