Susan Isaacs is an American novelist, essayist, and screenwriter. She worked as a senior editor at Seventeen magazine and as a freelance political speechwriter after college. Her first novel, Compromising Positions, was published in 1978 and was chosen as a main selection of the Book of the Month Club. All of her subsequent novels have been New York Times bestsellers, and her fiction has been translated into thirty different languages.
