1 standalone book

Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz was a Polish writer and journalist who lived from 1898 to 1939. He authored over a dozen popular novels, one of which was The Career of Nicodemus Dyzma, a work that became a byword for fortuitous careerism in Poland. Literary historians believe that this novel inspired Being There, a 1971 novel by Jerzy Kosiński, which generated considerable controversy in the West. Dołęga-Mostowicz is remembered for his contributions to Polish literature during the early 20th century.
