Terry Eagleton

Terry Eagleton is a prominent English literary critic and theorist. He has held academic positions at the University of Oxford, the University of Manchester, the University of Lancaster, and the National University of Ireland, Galway. He has also served as a Distinguished Visitor in the English Department at the University of Notre Dame. Eagleton has authored more than forty books, including Literary Theory: An Introduction, The Ideology of the Aesthetic, and The Illusions of Postmodernism, and has delivered notable lectures such as the Yale Terry Lectures and the Gifford Lecture titled The God Debate.
