12 standalone books

Thomas Hardy, OM (1840-1928), was an English novelist and poet of the naturalist movement, though several poems display elements of the earlier romantic and enlightenment periods, such as his fascination with the supernatural. He regarded himself primarily as a poet who composed novels mainly for financial gain, but was much better known in his lifetime for novels such as Tess of the d'Urbervilles and Far from the Madding Crowd.
