Tony Kushner (born 1956) is an award-winning American playwright and screenwriter, most famous for his play Angels in America, for which he won the Pulitzer Prize. He is also co-author, with Eric Roth, of the screenplay for the 2005 film Munich, directed by Steven Spielberg, which earned Kushner and Roth an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
