Tui T. Sutherland is an American author born on July 31, 1978, in Caracas, Venezuela, who spent her childhood across several countries before settling in the United States. She is best known for creating the bestselling middle-grade fantasy series Wings of Fire, which follows dragon tribes navigating war, prophecy, and identity. A graduate of Williams College, she has also written under the Erin Hunter pen name and contributed to several other collaborative fiction series.
