Keikavus (1021–1098) was a ruler of the Ziyarid dynasty, reigning from c. 1050 to 1087. The son of Iskandar and grandson of Qabus, he held little power during his reign owing to his status as a vassal of the Seljuqs. He is celebrated as the author of the Qabus-nama, a major work of Persian literature.
