Wang Fu (78–163), courtesy name Jiexin, was a Chinese essayist, historian, philosopher, and poet during the Eastern Han dynasty. Born in Gansu Province to humble circumstances, he is remembered chiefly for his sole surviving masterpiece, the Qianfu Lun, one of the most valuable sources on his thought.
