3 standalone books

Witold Marian Gombrowicz (August 4, 1904 – July 24, 1969) was a Polish novelist and dramatist born in Małoszyce, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, then part of the Russian Empire. His works are marked by deep psychological analysis, a sense of paradox, and an absurd, anti-nationalist tone. In 1937, he published his first novel, Ferdydurke, which explored themes such as immaturity, identity formation, and the role of class in Polish society. Though he gained recognition only in the final years of his life, he is now regarded as one of the most significant figures in Polish literature.
