Eiichiro Oda is a Japanese manga artist born on January 1, 1975, in Kumamoto, Japan. He is the creator of One Piece, one of the best-selling manga series of all time, which follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew in pursuit of the legendary treasure known as the One Piece. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997, the series has sold hundreds of millions of copies worldwide and cemented Oda's place as one of the most influential figures in manga history.
