Beyond the Golden Stair is a fantasy novel written by American author Hannes Bok. It originated as the short story "The Blue Flamingo," which was published in the January 1948 issue of Startling Stories. The story was later expanded and revised into novel form by the author. The novel was first released in book form in November 1970 by Ballantine Books as the twenty-third volume in the Ballantine Adult Fantasy series.
