About “Something Fresh”
The first Blandings novel introduces Lord Emsworth, his bone-headed younger son the Hon. Freddie Threepwood, his secretary the Efficient Baxter, and the butler Beach. Two impostors arrive at Blandings Castle, each with an eye on a valuable scarab that Lord Emsworth has acquired without quite realizing how it came into his pocket, and matters grow considerably more complicated from there.
