Bob Morane is a series of adventure books in French, featuring an eponymous protagonist. The series was created by Henri Vernes, the pseudonym of Belgian novelist Charles-Henri Dewisme. Since the character's introduction in 1953, more than 200 novels have been written. The iconic covers of the books were illustrated by various artists, including Pierre Joubert, Henri Lievens, William Vance, Claude Pascal, Antonio Parras, Patrice Sanahujas, Felicísimo Coria, and René Follet.
