Boogiepop and Others is a Japanese light novel written by Kouhei Kadono and illustrated by Kouji Ogata, released in 1998 by MediaWorks, where it won the fourth Dengeki Game Novel Contest. It is the first in the Boogiepop series; a manga adaptation by Kouji Ogata began serialization in 1999, and it is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment under the title Boogiepop Doesn't Laugh.
