About “A Dream Play”
A Dream Play is a fantasy play written by August Strindberg in 1901. It was published in Swedish in 1902 and first performed in Stockholm on 17 April 1907. The play is divided into 14 scenes and is considered one of Strindberg's most admired works. It is regarded as an important precursor to dramatic Expressionism and Surrealism.
