About “Aab-e hayat”
Aab-e hayat is a commentary on Urdu poetry written by Muhammad Husain Azad in 1880. It is considered the first chronological history of Urdu poetry and was described as "canon-forming." The book is the most often reprinted and most widely read Urdu book of the past century.
