The Abhidharmakośabhāṣya, also known as the Abhidharmakośa, is a major Buddhist text written in Sanskrit by the scholar Vasubandhu in the 4th or 5th century CE. It is a summary of the Sarvāstivādin Abhidharma, organized into eight chapters with approximately 600 verses, followed by a commentary. The text was highly regarded and used by various Buddhist traditions in India, Tibet, and East Asia.
