Addled is a social comedy centered on the Eden Rock Country Club, a New England institution where a Fourth of July incident involving a goose killed by bond trader Charles Lambert disrupts the club's established order. The event triggers tensions among members, as Lambert's wife Madeline faces scrutiny over her marriage and his mental state, while their daughter's campaign to make the club vegan clashes with chef Vita's plans regarding the geese.
