About “Al-Fiqh al-Akbar”

Al-Fiqh al-Akbar, also known as "The Greater Knowledge," is an early Islamic text attributed to the jurist Abu Hanifa. It is one of the few surviving works by him and presents the core beliefs of Sunni Islam. The text refutes the doctrines of groups seen as outside the mainstream Islamic tradition, such as the Muʿtazila, Qadariyah, and Khawarij. It also addresses how Sunni Muslims should understand the unclear attributes of Allah and explains that the Qur'an is the eternal speech of Allah. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
