About “Al-Kutub al-Sittah”
Kutub al-Sittah, also known as al-Sihah al-Sitta, are the six most highly regarded collections of hadith in Sunni Islam. They were all compiled in the 9th and early 10th centuries, roughly between 840 and 912 CE. These collections are considered to embody the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad and are central to Sunni Islamic tradition. Each of the six works was compiled by a different scholar and is recognized as a primary source for understanding the sayings and actions of the Prophet.
