About “Al-Risalah al-Kamiliyyah fil Siera al-Nabawiyyah”

Theologus Autodidactus is an Arabic novel written by Ibn al-Nafis between 1268 and 1277. It was originally titled The Treatise of Kāmil on the Prophet's Biography and is also known as Risālat Fādil ibn Nātiq. The novel is considered one of the earliest examples of a novel in Arabic literature. It includes elements of science fiction and is an early coming-of-age story and desert island narrative. The work was partly a response to Hayy ibn Yaqdhan, a philosophical novel by Ibn Tufayl. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
