About “An American Dream”

Stephen Rojack is a decorated war hero, a former Congressman, and a public intellectual with his own television show, married to the wealthy and amoral Deborah Caughlin Kelly. After hearing the moon speak to him on a New York high-rise terrace and urging him to kill himself, Rojack murders his wife and then runs amok through the city, exposing the underlying brutality beneath social norms.
