Aniara is a science fiction poem written by Harry Martinson, a Swedish Nobel laureate, between 1953 and 1956. It tells the story of a spacecraft carrying colonists who flee Earth after its destruction. The ship loses its way and leaves the Solar System, leading to a deep existential struggle.
