Arisa is a Japanese mystery manga series written and illustrated by Natsumi Ando. It was serialized in the monthly magazine Nakayoshi from February 2009 to September 2012. Kodansha released the chapters in twelve tankōbon volumes, beginning in April 2009 and ending in September 2012. The story is set in present-day Japan and follows Tsubasa Uehara, a teenager investigating the mystery behind her twin sister's suicide attempt. After her sister falls into a coma, Tsubasa impersonates her to discover the identity of the King, a figure who grants wishes to students in her class, often leading to violent outcomes.
