About “Azumi”
Azumi is a Japanese manga series created by Yū Koyama. It was first serialized in Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine from 1994 to 2008, and later a sequel with the same title was published from 2008 to 2014. The original series was collected in 48 tankōbon volumes, while the sequel was collected in 18 volumes. The story centers on Azumi, a young woman raised as part of an assassin team tasked with killing warlords who threaten the fragile peace in Feudal Japan after the Sengoku civil war.
