About “Battle Angel Alita”
Battle Angel Alita, known in Japan as Gunnm, is a Japanese cyberpunk manga series created by Yukito Kishiro. It was originally published in Shueisha's Business Jump magazine from 1990 to 1995. The first two of the manga's nine volumes were adapted in 1993 into a two-part anime original video animation titled Battle Angel. This adaptation was released in North America by ADV Films and in the UK and Australia by Manga Entertainment. Manga Entertainment also provided the English dubbing for Battle Angel Alita.
