About “Black Books”
The Black Books are a collection of seven private journals written by Carl Gustav Jung between 1913 and 1932. These journals were kept in a personal and confidential manner, offering insight into Jung's inner thoughts and reflections during this period. The name "Black Books" comes from the color of the covers of the final five journals in the collection. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
