About “Book of Southern Tang”
The Book of Southern Tang, also known as Lu's Book of Southern Tang, is a historical text written by Lu You around 1184. It consists of 18 chapters and provides a record of the Southern Tang dynasty. Later, during the Yuan Dynasty in 1328, Qi Guang added a chapter with phonetic commentary to the work. The book is a historical account and not a fictional narrative.
